It's About Time...

Woops :D
I wanted to start this a while ago, but then that takes all the fun out of it right? Right.
In this new chapter of my life, I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with the desire to be a yacht stewardess. Don't ask me where this idea came from, but the woman who I owe so much credit to for helping make this happen is Kelly Robinson. She's a beautiful woman who my sister Jacqui and my sister-in-law (practically, lets be real here) Marrianne met at a party. They got to talking, and well, here I am!

With about 3 weeks of planning and plenty of research, I bought my one way ticket to FLL. I flew down October 19th. I have been living in a crew house through a company called 'The Neptune Group' who house all the 'yachties' of this industry, aka, all the bums looking for jobs. You pay a weekly rent, hoping that while working with crew agencies, you'll get an interview and hired to a yacht. I live in an apartment called "The Crash Pad".. nice name. I have 3 roommates, Sarah, Katie, and Monica. Sarah is my roomie: she listens to me text myself to sleep at night, and hit snooze on my alarm 30 times in the morning until she has to yell at me to wake up. Bless her heart for dealing with me. Katie is a special woman who I feel like I have known my whole life. I don't have enough time to write about her so that'll be for another time. Monica, has the BEST Australian accent ever. When she speaks, I mimic her, and she laughs. She also has the best laugh in the world, rivals that of my best friend Court, but doesn't quite trump it. I've been very very lucky to have these 3 as roommates, we've had so much fun together and I love harassing the you know what out of them everyday. Overall, so far so awesome, and more to come later. :D
